CACA de ORO is an Organic all-purpose fertilizer dried from 100% chicken manure.
With normal application rates*, root, or leaf burn (salt stress) will not occur.
Max application rate is 1,800-2,000 Lbs/ acre.
Take caution with new seedlings when using a ground cover.
Only when using a ground cover with soil, the natural occurring ammonia cannot evaporate and might harm young plants. Therefore, we recommend not to exceed the 1800 lbs/ acre rate. Or apply 3 weeks before covering.
CACA de ORO 100% organic fertilizer needs to dissolve in the soil first. We recommend you cover the pellets with dirt or mulch and water immediately to activate the pellets. Due to its natural character, the nutrients will be gradually released to the plants. You can see the first reaction within a week, depending on environmental circumstances.
You can apply a handful (approximately 1 cup) around the plant and always apply water.
We do recommend reapplying 2-3 times per crop cycle, depending on your crop.
Depending on soil conditions, temperature, and humidity: 3-6 months.
Yes, you can mix with other fertilizers depending on your soil’s nutritional needs.
General rule is to keep animals away when fertilizing your garden or land. The best way to avoid any animal interference is to mix the CACA de ORO into the soil and cover with more dirt or mulch.
Organic fertilizers are mineralized in the soil so with that it takes some time.
Organic fertilizers are more durable and have a much longer effect than chemical fertilizers.
Depending on your local climate conditions, March-September. Apply before planting and 1-2 times during the crop cycle. Always apply water after application unless rain occurs.
With a standard 900LBS / Acre dosage you apply:
40 LBS of Nitrogen per acre
27 LBS of Phosphates per acre
20 LBS of Potassium per acre
The nitrogen is released gradually during the crop cycle thanks to its organic nitrogen component and sources of ammonia.
Yes, we have killed all bacteria, but do not worry. It is the bacteria in the soil that will break down CACA de ORO in the soil into small particles contributing to great soil fertility, vigorous and stronger plants.
If you see white in the pellets that is great! The white is from feathers and that adds calcium to the fertilizer.
